You don't need a can of spray paint to be a graffiti artist anymore.

These days graffiti artists are going green. Using anything from masking tape to lasers to moss, YES Moss to leave their mark - - -er, um tags.

A little imagination goes a long way as you can see from the below images.

*We should all try to incorporate some GREEN into our lives!

We should all be as outgoing as Nathan Sawaya.

Nathan known for his amazing Lego sculptures was at one point a lawyer.

He left his position to focus on his true passion: ART

It is said that Nathan has well over 1 million Lego's at his disposal for creative works.

A few people I've come to admire use simple yet beautiful tools for communicating.

I have been a journal-er, diary writer, private thought recorder since I was a pre-teen.

I love making list (whether or not I use said list is unimportant) the point is...I like to record my thoughts, dreams, doodles...I like to write.

The tools I use to write with are very important to me. While I am not knowledgeable about what tools are best, green, or anything similar - - - I like what I like.

If I get something that's not up to par for me I will not use the tool. Which then becomes a waste of money, and lets face it - in this economy we have ALL learned the importance of NOT being wasteful.

In any event...I have been using some NEW writing tools. Looking at some of my previous writing/recording tools has shown me how much I've grown up!

Moleskin -

Its so simple, so thin, so chic. It is movable and the paper is quite soft for writing and drawing.

The Moleskin Soft Cover is my particular favorite. I love the size and feel of it. It is a very smooth product. I also love the fact that it comes in packs of 3!

I also love the many colors, sizes and definitions (writing/drawing/reporting/cashier) that are available. (The price is so miniscule its not even worth mentioning)

On my (Wish List) is the Moleskin 2010 Daily Planner Box set

Autumn is my favorite time of the year.

Layered looks, lush fabrics, comfy knits and PRADA.

I adored the Prada A/W 2009 collection and their look book is too much fun.

I especially like how the illustrations are fused in with the clothes.

It makes me want to cash in my 401 k (pause) and shop til the wheels fall off!

Not too long ago I spoke about illustrator Jo Ratcliffe I am fan of his work, and since it's been awhile I thought I would re-visit him.

His work is Cool, its Sophistcaed, Sexy, and Fun!

I can only imagine the new projects he's working on.

Now that the Spring 2010 collections have shown its time to revert back in the present.

Days are shorter and the weather is crisp and cool on the East-coat.

The time is ripe to start layering the basics and adding 1 or 2 stand-out pieces.

If your anything like me -- your standout pieces tend to sparkle and have loads of glitz and glam. (Actually that's my entire wardrobe)

When the grey skies replace sunny days you infuse pops of color. Colors many reserve for the warmer months are you everyday staples.

Missoni's A/W 2009 Collection did not disappoint.

The understated glamour brought to the runway was breathtaking.

Peach, Blue, Grey, even Yellow tones were done right and made you yearn for a night in front of the fireplace. While longing to layer yourself for an afternoon brunch with girlfriends.

Shop Your Closet

While getting myself "together" in Mary Tyler Moore style this morning, I could not find my favorite fall booties.

These booties by Irregular Choice have been a staple in my wardrobe for several season.

So much so that I added 2 other pairs from the brand to my shoe collection.

The quirky, architectural designs of the brand, with a price tag that doesn't send me over the moon are welcome in my home anytime!

Its without saying that I visited their A/W 09 collection to add some kicks to my Christmas list!~
